Grand Canyon Village Guest Ranches

Phantom Ranch, built in 1922, is the only lodging facility located below the rim of the canyon. Accommodations consist primarily of cabins or dormitory type facilities. Dormitories are segregated by gender. Cabins have bunk beds, sinks and toilets. Showers are provided at a central location. Restaurant facilities are provided, on site, however meals must be reserved well in advance. Access to this facility is either by foot, on mule or by rafting on the Colorado River.
